3,3′-Diindolylmethane for teeth

I was just thinking while brushing my teeth every other day with my ionic toothbrush (which was great for reducing plaque build up to a certain extend), how nice would it be if we have an audio for this.

And here we are. :D

Thank you.

Thank You So Much. :grin::pray:

@El_Capitan_Nemo You Rock!

My teeth are not that great lol…

Well, i always loved sweets, also being poor certainly didn’t help lol…

I have so many problems, but teeth, well that’s a visible one lol.

My Next Achievement: Sparkling

With so many fields still remaining in the “New Release” Category, plus, so many projects, I easily skip new releases unfortunately, at least for a while.

Is it OK to use more than 2 or 3 times per day?

Like I use it 2-3 times, then hours later, another round of listening? :thinking:

Try it. I did the same method with Plasma Teeth.

Thank you so much! Right away I felt a difference! Love it when that happens. It does make my mouth dry, but you can feel a cleaner mouth, like with the teeth whitening but different somehow.
I believe this could help me with the horrible chronic mouth eczema and cheilitis. Brilliant!

I recently had a professional tell me that the cause for tartar, caries, etc., is not as much due to sweets, etc., but due to the bacteria that feeds on them and proliferates

Thank You for Sharing.

Then, It looks like this field is a must listen (to) (I’ve been listening to it, but not on a daily basis).

3,3′-Diindolylmethane (DIM), a naturally occurring molecule also known as bisindole, has shown promising results in reducing the biofilms that cause plaque and cavities by up to 90%[1][3][4][5]. The findings of a study published in the journal Antibiotics indicate that DIM could potentially be added to toothpastes and mouthwashes to significantly improve dental hygiene[5].

Key points about DIM for teeth:

  • DIM was able to attenuate Streptococcus mutans biofilm formation by 92%[1].
  • Treatment with DIM lowered extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) production and decreased its durability significantly under acidic conditions[1].
  • DIM disrupted the biofilm that coats teeth by 90%, preventing the growth of bacteria like S. mutans, which is believed to be one of the primary causes of dental cavities[5].
  • The molecule has low toxicity and could be a potential therapeutic agent against cariogenic S. mutans biofilm[1][4].
  • The anti-biofilm and anti-virulence properties of DIM against S. mutans bacteria in an “oral setting” provide evidence for its usefulness in reducing biofilm formation and potentially for caries attenuation[1].

In conclusion, 3,3′-Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a promising natural molecule that could be added to toothpastes and mouthwashes to significantly improve dental hygiene and reduce the risk of plaque and cavities[2][3][4][5].
