The first picture is what I like the most @MonkeyOwl. I think being developed is good too when it comes to toilet availability
True! You don’t have to worry about running out of water etc.
Also there is always possibility to have a locally made cider on the peak
The water situation reminds me of a friend who likes to hike high mountains for several days. She always went in a group, and she told me how her group had to be smart on the water consumption, so they didn’t run out of water until they turn back to the basecamp. They could only carry one backpack, and had to bring tent as well + other equipment.
I have heard in Himalaya that one can hire a porter to bring extra water. That would be convenient.
My dream country.
I like nature more because I live in the city where all I see are buildings. But I find that city can be beautiful too when the night comes.
No, not me yet, haha. Hopefully some day! For now I climb in The Cascade mountain range. I’m hoping to get to The Himalayas after Covid. I’ll spam some photos of mine from around where I live

Oh wow, where were these taken?
The first is taken outside of Tromsø, further north from where I live, and the second is right outside the city I live in. Both in the north of Norway
Wow, that’s really cool! Tromsø is on my wishlist, including Abisko
Tromsø is beautiful, but Bodø is better🙊
I have never heard of Bodø, but I am sure the locals know better
First pic reminds me of the thumbnail of ego dissolution lol
Well… would we??? :)
Amazing pictures guys, keep them coming! I feel like I’m travelling a bit thanks to this topic
This is one of my favorite places in my country Colombia. Its called The Peñol Rock which you can climb but it also has steps.
