Additionally, i have used black onsidian in the following cases. The protection part is really unparallelled.

You can literally experiment like this: go to the bar/club without playing it, see how men out on the “hunt” approach you, etc. → play black obsidian → all the players disappear suddenly to look for other victims (leaving ppl with actual interest of course). Heads up - much less stares on the street in general after playing this vs otherwise

if youre in a big crowd it is the most insane psychic shielding

if you have someone crazy harassing ppl where you are and you cant get away physically (e.g. mentally ill person on public transportation). Play it → (i also mentally “said” a firm go away) → they get off at the next stop by themselves
