Dalai Lama

The dalai lama is not enlightened… please, listen to this monk who teaches from the original scriptures

I posted something here yesterday about hiw corrupt their version of “buddhism” is but i deleted it… i wish i hadnt

But this monk says everything i said, which is kinda synchronised cause this talk is also from yesterday!

Anyone interested in The Buddhas actual teachings and not the secret riddled Tibetan tradition, steeped in tobetanism more than it is The actual Dhamma raight by Lord Buddha could do worse than listening to this bikkhu (monk)

Wait… i thought it was common knowledge that he works for the CIA

its not?

shrug

Nothing surprises me these days. Reminded me of Biden’s conduct.

My opinion of him changed after I went to one of his talks. He treated the western audience like fools (who kind of deserved it given the lame questions they asked of him). He has too much power and no humility.

Disgusting. The fuck was that. People at the top are fucking weird and creepy. Are they already degenerate from the start and the power and money just magnify it?

Knew about the CIA connection. That I actually understand. This? No. This was not on my bingo card.

The Buddha never praised monks in the public eye…

Far from it

The exact opposite infact

One other monk swears in his talks so its more appealing… what?what are we trying to do here? Appeal to peoples better or worse qualities

This is what is known as Adhamma…i.e. not Dhamma (dharma in sanskrit)

Please do watch the talk i posted above off a monk i know has tasted Nibanna (nirvana)… he closes the whole topic off

the job is just political and spying,
and of course, since they specialize in a specific trade, maybe their members are allowed access.

It is you (the public) who may believe he is actually a spiritual leader.

but the job is just really for appearances and intel.

It’s a good cover for travel and meetings. I always regarded his leadership role as similar to that of Pope—political but nevertheless believes he is doing the right thing. No doubt there are TBs of extraordinary spiritual development as there are, I’m sure, Roman Catholics who radiate a powerful holiness. It’s hardly ever the top guy, though.

I read the Book of the Dead once and thought it should get a graphic novel treatment. (Edit: I’m guessing that’s already happened. I remember an easy version of the book that drawings of a bus station. E. J. Gold has a lot of material related to the TBotD, but he’s not your ordinary thinker—definitely an interesting one, though.)

Good christians confess to their priests.

Priests write comprehensive reports on a consistent basis.

Reports get sent to the vatican.

→ Intel

At least thats what I´ve been told by a family member. Wouldn´t surprise me.

I’m not Catholic, but I always thought confession and penance was a brilliant psychological innovation. At one point, there were studies showing Catholics had lower suicide rates (not sure if those findings still hold or were even correct—but they still seem plausible to me.) That it could be a source of intelligence is a cherry on top. Even if it was anonymized data, it could really give the Vactican deep insights on future trends and the current state of society. Hard not to be impressed by that.

Yeah, although most people carry a spy on them 24/7, so this method is pretty outdated.

True, but there’s something to be said for extremely longitudinal data.

He’s just average as it gets.

Imagine if you are a kid and suddendly you don’t have to worry or do anything for the rest of your life because everyone else takes care of it. That’s the Dalai Lama.

Siddhartha Gautama at least dropped all his possessions and royal status to search for enlightenment.

Anyone knows what the CIA specific trade that Dream mentioned is?

Children traf.ficking? Or it has nothing to do with these “news”?

Damn…I did think he was a leader for the buddhists, had some spiritual power. I was hoping this was just something cultural and the west got it wrong. Welp…

There have been pictures circulating on the internet involving the Dalai Lama and Jeffrey Epstein + Ghislaine Maxwell… if that gives any indication of things for you

Lol…
Unfortunately all these “spiritual leaders” are not that Spiritual in the first place, also, no way they are better or holier than others.

Religion (or even “Spirituality”) doesn’t have much holiness left, unfortunately.

I’m not sure what Dream was referring to, but trade and tradecraft are rabbit holes that go as deep as needed. The argument is that the ends justify the means, but the means themselves become another type of ends.

The most ironic thing is that the spiritual leaders of each religion:

  1. Were not religious (they didn’t follow any religion)
  2. Did not intend to create a religion in their name.

Christ abandoned judaism and Siddharta didn’t follow any religion in the first place, Krishna either.

Yeah, why follow religious “authorities”?
Christ, Buddha, Krishna, these Guys were smart, like really smart.
Their lives speak volumes about non conformism, lack of “traditional piety”, etc.
They were Above the system AND THEY KNEW IT.
And we must come to the realization that we are too, Divine, that is.
