Does equalizer of the music app affect the field?

If yes then what should be the equalizer setting ie jazz, pop, flat etc

you shouldnt alter the fields, they are intended to work as they were originally made

The equalizer only changes the volume of specific frequencies. Either by raising or lowering. And depending on the amount of db the equalizer applies may either distort due to clipping from being to amplified or completely remove that Frequency by being lowered drastically.

If it’s barely adjusted it won’t to do anything. If it’s extreme it could ruin the effectiveness of the field. I would just leave it flat.

If I’m listening with headphones and i want to hear the music more and the tone is loud- i will adjust the volume of the frequency correlating to the tone so it’s not as loud.

Hey frequency, do u know if noise cancellation alters the fields? I always put it off just in case, but I’d like to use the function when hearing fields too

Basically it works by using your microphone to pick up low-frequency noise around you. After it does that the electronics in the headphones create a sound that is exactly opposite to that outside noise to cancel it out so that all you should hear is the music.

So basically its creating a sound that causes your brain to counter act that noise to make you perceive that you aren’t hearing it even though you really are. I believe its okay because it isn’t actually changing the audio of the field or the music.

Its basically just adding another sound to counter act the background noise from around you. Its pretty confusing lol. Hope it makes sense.

Thanks for the reply. I guess that makes sense but what is the difference bw a custom flat EQ setting (pic 1) & a default flat setting (pic 2)

.

We’re just decreasing individual bars but they’re still flat (all bars are equal) but at a lower level giving the benefit of overall decreased volume

Looks like your running musicolet? Nice app. So that’s fine like that. I do the same thing. As long as you can hear it if your music wasn’t playing.

The first pic everything is going to be quieter. The second pic will be a bit louder. That’s the only difference. The preamp is just raising or lowering all the frequencies in a uniformed way instead of manually adjusting each bar.

Yes, musicolet is really good. I actually try to listen to subliminals & frequency at the same time, therefore the preamp is quite good. But I don’t have the preamp in my other phone (lower android v) which I use for listening, which is why I have to lower down each freq bar. I’m assured to know that it works & I’m not messing up the field by lowering each freq. Thanks!
