does exploiting videogames hinder ascension
really up to you to experience and make that call.
i used to use cheat codes with single player games like pokemon and it taught me a valuable lesson that iād get bored or the game will stop working properly.
i donāt cheat or hack multiplayer games but being on the victim side of things i recognize that behaviour and stay away from them. i see those kinds of cheaters are looking for attention or validating themselves but overall they donāt seem to have a flourishing social life.
now if youāre talking about exploiting glitches like finding an interesting way to bypass things in speedruns that could be seen as creative or it may not be recognized by the devoted speedrunners who do it the way they know how.

mulitplayer exploiting. I think it does give a worse social life. Iāve done some of it. social life becoems a bit more apathetic afterwards.
Well personally I stay away from games, movies, porn, and songs since many among them have hidden sublimial and related to illuminati so Iād say better stay on safe side. If youāre serious about spitituality better stay away from this imo. Even from social media life since those energy of negative people can affect youā¦Iām living 100 times better life after I quit thoseā¦but itās up to youā¦Iād rather meditate than wasting time on these worldly stuff lol

this is my belief and perspective:
when you cheat, it sends out a message to the whole universe that youāre selfish. it sends out a message that you are willing to take othersā enjoyment for your own. it sends out a message that you are allowing the same to happen to you.

yeah, Iāve stopped now. After searching for āanswersā I found my answer (existentially) at 13 and so I thought exploiting on games like roblox is simple and new, so I went ahead and did it. I havenāt known better back then. Didnāt know about any of ascension etcā¦
But Iām on almost full monk mode so my cause might be different than yours tho however if anyone asks me I always tell people to leave these things. 100 years ago people didnāt have any of these but yet lived 10 times better life

that would count as creative mode and well within the gameās capabilities. the game itself offered you the option.
from my understanding, exploitation in this context would mean one was forcing their will into the game via cheats or hacking.

If you believe you learn from it, you will.
Thereās no objective answer there. Games might allow you to see how you interact in different venues, just as much as to your true character outside of ārealityā.
As much as I donāt play videogames, usually. I still carry some valuable lessons from them. So, in a sense, they made me ascend quicker than others.
Itās like saying that ābad thingsā canāt be āgoodā for you. You learn the most from unwanted situations, at times.
Donāt generalize and go by your feelings from it. If you feel that you canāt do it, or makes you feel bad, donāt.
Just be honest with yourself.

Wellā¦ I used to have a gameshark device for my PS1ā¦ so Iām notā¦ not judging. 
But yes I agree, the game gets boring. Well I like the option to be on godmode if a boss fight pisses me off, but other than that, itās more fun to level up your character or your skills. I donāt lose! 
But to answer the OP, hereās my take, I donāt get to game much these days, but will cheating in video games affect your ascension? Probably not as directly as other āsinsā, but it might, in a way, cause you might get accustomed to making compromises, and taking the easy route and focusing on the destination, rather than improving yourself and enjoying the game (journey) to get there.
Itās a little bit of a stretch, but thatās how we tend to loosen the rules we set for ourselves; with insignificant microdecisions here and there until eventually, weāre fine with accepting bigger compromises against our personal values and better judgement; and that could be a slippery slope.
Again itās a stretch but thatās my opinion within the context of ascending and cheating in video games. Hope it helps.

Yup, itās hidden in a lot of media, which is why I ātryā to stay away but not always successful lol.
Most people are depressed nowadays and completely isolated from nature and recently each other.
