GTA 4 is awesome!

I wanted to highlight the following:

Whilst we are all awaiting GTA 6, there is this remarkable mod for GTA San Andreas called Project Eagle.

20 years ago I played San Andreas like crazy and tried out many mods. They were all impressive. However this Project Eagle is fully wild…

It creates a map the size of I would guess 20-30 times the original San Andreas map! The design is as if driving through the US. They built smaller cities, bigger cities, deserts, snowy areas, etc. They also built in the original GTA Vice City map far in the south east, and the original GTA 3 Liberty City map in the north east. GTA 4 map is not there though.

They also added local radio stations that switch depending where you are, local vehicles and weapons, for example you can find those old cool cars in Vice City, and only Vice City weapons can be found and purchased there. Meanwhile for example you can find hidden packages in the GTA 3 Liberty City map… the feeling of nostalgia is insane! I even remembered some weapon pickup locations in GTA 3. They re-created all of those!!

Now granted, some parts of the map aren’t ready yet - there are simply voids. But there are some fun side missions, you can purchase houses, mod cars, etc. It is playable, just not perfect yet. And they are even planning a main storyline…just wow.

Incredible details and super nostalgia, it is the perfect time while waiting for GTA 6. Give it a go!

Grove Street 4 Life!!

Finished gta 3, vice city, san andreas, liberty city stories, vice city stories now I’m close to ending/completing gta 4 (BTW mostly the main storyline and some activities here and there), then I’ll add the episodes from liberty city to my completed collection, and finally gta 5,returning after many years to Michael, Trevor and Franklin!

THEN… Wen I’ll have some upgrades for my pc or a new one lol, it’s Jason and Lucia time lol.

I love games! I’m a single player gamer. Love all the soulsbourne games (especially sekiro & elden ring), Cyberpunk and Witcher 3. Bunch of other games too like Read Dead 2, Bioshock, Last of us 1+2, Mass Effect Trilogy, Portal 1+2. My fave mp games were gears of war & smash bros.

I have barely been playing video games these days though. Been grinding hard so I can build a more free flowing life for myself again and have the time to be able to play video games without feeling like I’m sacrificing productivity haha. It’s definitely harder having a kid too since any free time I have, I feel is best to dedicate to her growth.

But… I secretly hope she gets into gaming loll. Would be the best thing ever to play co-op games with her.

Last week with the help of AI I made a remake of the classic Bananas (or Gorillas?) game at the office of all places :grin::grin:

It’s an old DOS game, it’s 2D and cool colors with two gorillas throwing bananas at each other. You can adjust throwing angle and speed and there’s wind to factor in.

My remake is a cyberpunk version, pretty cool, there’s 1 player mode vs AI and a local multiplayer mode. Trouble is today I tried to make it office-wide and it’s not working yet probably because the office implemented stuff to prevent that sort of thing.

Still it’s so fun to re-create this kind of game.
Oh yes and it’s fully in html only. I had sent the file to colleagues and they’re enjoying it lol.

I even added a cheat code to unlock a banana nuke :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Fun fun

I would have to pull a Snowden-esque move. Normally we can’t export any data out from the office.
