I didnā€™t get this from teespring since I guess all the copies had been bought, and Iā€™m sort of bummed about it. But, the price I got it for on Venly was definitely worth it.

I read somewhere that Gebo can helpn connect to the gods. A few months back when the Aphrodite audio came out, I took a slight interest in Freyja, as she might have her origins in Aphrodite. Not wanting to start an argument over thisā€¦I do feel enough of a similar aspect to them, and yesterday I did a Freyja attunement.

Freyja feels more familiar, and I am beginning to feel there is an ancestral connection to her. I also used the Uruz rune nft to strengthen this attunement.

This morning, I felt I was led to this nft. Lots of things coinciding with this. After printing off a physical copy, its energy hit me faster than Uruz did the first time I introduced myself to it.

What I wanted to say is after asking the Gebo rune to help charge an offering of incense to Freyja and strengthen a pathway, two things happened. I saw a hot air balloon this morning. I also saw a small plane landing at a private airport. I canā€™t remember when I have seen either of these things in my city. Itā€™s been at least ten years for either. These things were roughly around the same time this morning, but not in the same area of the city as I was driving.

As a disclaimer, there are many other kinds of energy work, intercession, etc. going on so I need to acknowledge them, but I took these two things as signs of connecting to heavenly realms and perhaps heaven itself since planes and hot air balloons were a favorite of my grandmother who has passed on. I felt close to her this morning.

Main thing I use for the rune is to clear pathways to gods or spirits I ask for help from. I feel it does this really well. I also ask it to help with removing negativity. It enhances whatever method Iā€™m using.

One thing I get hungup on is seeing a field do something and then getting stuck on it just doing that without trying anything else.

Gebo does seem to make me more empathetic I think.

I wasnā€™t around for when this NFT dropped and very little information was given (intentional?) but this could really amplify the gift from ALL the NFTs we have. Iā€™ll be grabbing a copy in a few minutes as the prices are SOO low. If someone else has this NFT would you try holding Gebo and another NFT in each palm of your hand and share some experiences?

this rune literally means ā€œgiftā€

itā€™s a rune connected to giving and taking
trade or exchange between two parties and as we see in ancient Scandinavian societies

there was the belief that a gift calls for a gift
if something is given to you to maintain the bonds of friendship
you must also give something in return

so this rune is also linked to sacrifice in ritualistic terms and in terms of worshipping the deities

if you take a close look at the symbol it looks like a stylized representation of someone

an anthropomorphic figure with two arms in a gesture of pledging
in archaeological terms we see these representations of humans with arms wide open towards the sky

since even before the Paleolithic
a gesture of worshipping and receiving the power of the deities through the palms of their hands

receiving the gift of the gods in their hands, absorbing the forces
a gesture that in many religions is still used when addressing a deity or deities

we see in Scandinavian societies that the exchange of power, the sacrifices, ceremonies, worshipping

was through gifting, this was the most common way to show faith
not through prayers but giving to the gods sacrificial animals, a burnt portion of the crops and valuable objects
