That’s wise of you. Plus I’m sure this will help with all of your other goals as well, because that “dont deserve this” attitude (which is super common, BTW. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t have some bit of that going on for them) will get in the way of your other goals and fields until you resolve that. Good for you.
The limit is individual. Your limit will depend on your individual energy system. And it will depend on which fields you’re using. You might have more resistance to certain fields where other forum friends don’t have your same resistance. So, the honest (but not necessarily helpful) answer is “it depends.” Some people can listen to fields all day long (even as they sleep). Others can only handle a portion of one field.
Good guidelines (and listening practices) can be found in our excellent Official Sapienmed FAQ (Updated). I’d recommend you check it out.
When you do check it out, you’ll learn that, unlike subliminals, more is not necessarily better with morphic fields. I like to think of it like working out, where the muscle growth actually occurs when we’re resting, except with morphic fields, the “growth” comes when we’re integrating the information of the field (which happens long after the time the field is playing).
Like building muscle, integrating the information of these fields take energy. You don’t want to overwhelm your energy systems any more than you don’t want to run your physical body into the ground with excessive exercise.
There are many people on this forum who do. It’s best to start off slow (because you don’t want to run your energy body into the ground, either, as I just mentioned) and then work your way up. In addition to the guidelines given in the FAQ, some fields do have stated limits. You can find those limits in the descriptions for those fields, either where you found your field or in the thread for that field here on this forum. If no limits are explicitly stated, 2-3 times per listening session is a good rule of thumb. (Although that doesn’t stop us–myself included–from sometimes looping a field for hours on end.)
