Horror movies and shielding

My GF was watching a movie on Lifetime yday (eeeks), about some sleepy ghost and was getting scared!

I don’t like horror movies, not really because of the scary factor, rather because they’re just a bit… ridiculous/boring.
I have also never managed to enjoy the “bad” movies my friends would watch for the “wtf factor”. Giant shark jumping out of the water to bring down a plane etc. Type of stuff.
For me they’re similar in a way.

This is a good question. My question is somehow related; Most of the time I listen to fields while watching something on Netflix or YT, and there are times I’ve wondered if it’s okay to watch something negative (horror, drama, paranormal/ghost exploration, or a documentary) while listening to these fields.
