I was using the blue light filter on my phone, and when I turned it on before, I couldn’t turn it on because it increased my blood pressure. I wanted to give it a try today because it was adjusting my sleep, I turned on the blue light filter and increased the intensity and measured my blood pressure 130/90 !!! Then in just 1 minute I turned off the blue light filter and measured it 108/82 how is this possible this has happened many times before but since I have a high stress life I didn’t really believe it did, but still didn’t use it. As far as I know, blue light only has long-term harm, but I haven’t seen the blue light filter do any harm. It seems that I am the only one experiencing the effect of this because I haven’t seen an article or something like this.
please write your feedback.
Sorry to barge in… but do blue light filters affect mandalas?
My computer was broken, i was using flux before on pc, i think my blood pressure was increasing on it but i don’t remember exactly. The strange effect is that I only see it, I did it with another phone, the result is still the same.
It’s okay, I don’t know if it affects you personally, but it seems to affect me … But I don’t use mandalas.
Blue light burns ATP???
The problem isn’t blue light, it’s too much blue light out of balance. Cheap LEDs produce several times more blue light than other colors, so overtime you begin to get light toxicity issues. The entire body responds to light, both your eyes and your skin have different types of light sensors in them to respond to different colors of light (your circadian clock uses them, to give just one example).
Too much blue light, sensors get overload, retina detachment in the eye begins to happen, sleep problems, circadian issues happen, problems snowball.
Sunlight has none of these issues, because it’s natural light, properly balanced.

@anon87668656, if I’m understanding you correctly, you’re saying that your blood pressure increases when you remove the blue light from your phone? But, this only happens with one of your phones, not the other one and not on the PC with f.lux?
There could be something bad about how the one phone filters out blue light (not all manufacturers use the same process). Try the Twilight app, does it give you the same problems?
Also, how much sunlight exposure are you getting during the day? Any at all?
I’m not exposed to much sunlight and I’m at home. If i am used blue light filter and and this happens if I raise the color temperature.
Oh, you raise the color temp and that’s what increases your blood pressure? Raising the color temp would be adding MORE blue light. If you’re blue light toxic, then your physical response makes sense - your body doesn’t like it!
Watch the Dr. Kruse videos if you can, and try to get more sunlight, as much as is practical for you without sunblock, and not enough to cause sunburn.
I just tried flux on the laptop and my blood pressure went up again. I guess it has something to do with the nervous system.
I’ve tried it too but somehow distracts me from my work. Probably just a matter of getting used to it?
You may need to adjust it to a level that’s comfortable for you. Play with the sliders a bit and try to match it to the lighting of the room you’re in.
1-2 years ago I was always using this flux on my computer, it was very useful. I was sleeping very well at night. I started to have this problem after the strange effect I saw from frequency, field and subliminals. I think the weird effect on the lights is related to the nervous system. I don’t know so it wasn’t there before.
