Haha, yeah, the dancing (certain moves, gestures, etc.) can be seen as funny, especially for a more modern audience or for non-Indians or for western folks.

I’m just enjoying their enjoyment, the love of music, dancing, nature, life, etc., and tbh, Indian cinema is less realistic, but not in a bad way, it just needs a certain appreciation for their values, art, philosophy, all elements which are present in their movies, at least the older ones (yeah, certainly special effects wasn’t a strong point though, but again, if I want more realism or special effects, I have Hollywood, for example - although, there are many genres; BTW I love Hollywood and appreciate it’s art).

Also, In the past the West used to have quite the musicals, when it comes to cinematography, in fact, there were some recent attempts at revival, here and there, or at least an attempt to show the younger generations something different.
