I was in the first years of primary school and they were airing it in Hungary (technically i just checked and the series was over by then, but there was quite a lag with translations and rights and all that back in the day :D)
Everyone was watching it, the show aired on the weekend and then on Monday in school we discussed the episode, and if you didnāt see itā¦ well, you werenāt cool. Nothing to talk bout with you. Lol.

I really like Brad Pitt, but Inglorious Basterds is a terrible choice to defend him IMO.

Well now you do :) That might be the only role in which I enjoyed watching him along with partly Benjamin Button, honestly.
The whole cast was doing more than good indeed. But his role had something anachronic, something almost too ādisplacedā because too enormous, too ānot giving a dimeā-wise. Just like Johnny Deppās Ed Wood performance. Making them touching after some point.

I donāt know about Philip but perso Iāve always been more focused on Edward Norton in that one.
We just end up going after our own feelings and identifications for this kind of stuff, eventually. Some of us at least. Even if there are some āstandardsā qualifying a plot as good, or an actor as talented, or a genre as valuableā¦ etc.

Itās really cool that Sapien Medicine is doing Shorts. Most of the Shorts I had seen were from TikTok (no offense, I am just not its target market).
