In Indian culture , people use lemon to keep evil eye away ,any thoughts on this?

In Turkey, some people sleep with lemon peels, but this is done more for health purposes.
Other than that, many other people frequently do this (like once a month): they put onion peels, black cumin, harmel (rue), frankincense and sage in a pan, cook them and then spread the smoke in all the rooms of their houses. Like an incense, you know. In order to cleanse the energy and evil eye too, yes.
This is where some squeeze a lemon and add a touch of vanilla to the mixture, but just because it stinks :))
Also, having a lemon tree at home is quite frequent too, but I don’t know if this one is traditional.

I love the smell of lemon and enjoy its juice very much. For evil eyes, I don’t know. Many voodoo magis use lemon to cast a spell.
My Dragon is better in casting evil spells away than some lemons, that’s for sure.
