Today, I had a dream that kind of reminded me of him and the NFT, lol.

Hanuman is one of the most beloved figures in Hindu mythology, known for embodying devotion, strength, intelligence, and fearless service. A divine vanara (monkey-being), he plays a crucial role in the Ramayana as the most loyal ally of Lord Rama, to whom he dedicates his entire existence.

Hanuman possesses extraordinary powers—superhuman strength, the ability to fly, change size, and withstand immense hardship—but what defines him most is how he uses these powers. He acts without ego, desire for recognition, or personal gain. His legendary feats, such as leaping across the ocean to Lanka or carrying an entire mountain to save a life, arise not from ambition but from pure devotion and clarity of purpose.

On a deeper level, Hanuman symbolizes mastery of prāṇa (life force), discipline of mind, and the harmonization of power with humility. He is often seen as a protector, remover of fear, and source of inner resilience. For many, he represents the ideal servant-warrior: strong yet gentle, fierce yet compassionate, endlessly capable yet completely surrendered to a higher truth.

Hanuman is extraordinarily strong, one capable of lifting and carrying anything. He is called Vira, Mahavira, Mahabala and other names signifying this attribute of his. During the epic war between Rama and Ravana, Rama’s brother Lakshmana is wounded. He can only be healed and his death prevented by a herb found in a particular Himalayan mountain. Hanuman leaps and finds the mountain. There, states Ramayana, Hanuman finds the mountain is full of many herbs. He doesn’t know which one to take. So, he lifts the entire Himalayan mountain and carries it across India to Lanka for Lakshmana. His immense strength thus helps Lakshmana recover from his wound. This legend is the popular basis for the iconography where he is shown flying and carrying a mountain on his palm.
