@SoulStar33 The New Year is upon us, George, and Iād like to share with you some underrated or unpopular New Year movie ideas, whenever you get the time. Hopefully they might cheer you up. Sorry to hear about your mother, Inhope my advice I gave you earlier helped.
Anybody here can have a glimpse too if they like, and see if thereās anything they might be interested in and want to watch. I hope everyone here has a good New Yearā¦ Happy Holidays! 
The Road to El Dorado (2000)- Adventure/Musical
Itās basically a story about two swindlers who get hold of a map to the Lost City of Gold, El Dorado, and they accidently end up on a quest towards there. Itās a beautiful animation and a great adventure movie for the New Year!
Itās a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963)- Comedy/Adventure/Epic
This movie is about a big group of motorists going through adversity in a crazy race across the states against each other, to uncover a secret stash of a huge amount of money been buried somewhere. Donāt underestimate this movie because of the year it was made in, itās an iconic comedy that was nominated for six Academy Awards and winning two Golden Globe Awards. Itās an epic movie that stars a wide cast of A-list comedic actors. Itās a great one for the holidays!
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)- Comedy/Fantasy/Mystery
This is a movie thatās set in a universe where humans and Looney Toons coexist together. The story is about a detective (Eddie) who is resentful and holds a āchip on his shoulderā towards Looney Toons after finding out his brother was brutally murdered by one. Although, his resentment becomes challenged when he coincidently teams up with a Looney Toon āRoger Rabbitā whoās asking for his help, after been framed for murder.
I cant remember the full story of the movie, but I donāt think youāre suppose to give alcohol to Roger or just Looney Toons in general because it sends them over the edge
The Land Before Time (1988)- Adventure/Family/Drama
Itās meant to be a childrenās movie, but it can also be for a mature audience too, since it has wisdom and an engaging storyline thatās quite similar to that of The Lion King animation. An emotional, wholesome movie about some young little dinosaurs on an adventure fighting through the dangers and chaos of the Cretaceous period in search of āThe Great Valleyā (paradise).
Princess Mononoke (1997)- Fantasy/Adventure
Many viewers usually tout Spirited Away as a special movie for the New Year, but they seem to forget about this Studio Ghibili masterpiece āPrincess Mononokeā. This fantasy adventure movie is about a conflict between the humans of Irontown (mining village) and the forest spirits who want to protect the forest from destruction. It eventually spirals out into a full-blown destructive war between each other. Itās a great epic movie that some fans say they prefer over Avatar. A must-watch for the holidays!
Beverly Hills Ninja (1997)- Comedy/Action
Itās a martial arts comedy movie about a clumsy Caucasian man, who was raised by Japanese ninjas in Japan, and struggles to integrate with the rest of the ninjas. He eventually goes on quest or mission to try solve a murder mystery in California. If youāre looking for a very funny movie to watch over the New Year, this might be a good choice for you. Itās the kind of movie that celebrates the spirit of adventure, friendship and laughter.

Once I was staying at my brotherās, my nephew couldnāt sleep and woke me up at 4:30am. I had no other rest that day and in the evening we watched this movie. I tried my best but fell asleep on the sofa 
As a kid, I had watched it countless times though - beautiful movie
