Music Thread šŸŽµ

I’m not much of a connoiser when it comes to music, to have an educated opinion, but I guess That is something, it says something about him, if You think he’s above them.

Gonna check the song after a few fields.

Edit: That’s a dope song.

Didn’t know that all of his songs are free styled.:fire:

I really liked his songs when I was in high school,
But I haven’t listened much to Lil Wayne since then,
However I appreciate how amazing his style is.

This was my favorite Lil Wayne song,
At least in the last decade:
(more or less)

Once a child becomes an adult, he cannot become a child again.

The child is now a man.

Only one thing can be said:

A child has the right to dream.

Endless possibilities lie before him.

All men were once children.

Ah nah, I personally don’t
I’m saying in the rap ā€œworldā€ he is argued to be so

I think he’s one of the greatest
But I have difficulty in narrowing such a thing down… Because I think of things like is this artist as good/great as their best song ? How heavily did they impact the culture?

So there’s varying things like that, lyrical content, frequency of high quality stuff, how much quantity of work, etc…

Every one is quite unique in the history of rap and rap is relatively a young genre

Also being the best does not mean being the greatest in my book

I think Eminem and Lil Wayne are better than 2pac and Biggie lyrically

Biggie had a unique flow but I think he didn’t have a wide spectrum of flows like Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne best metaphors
Eminem best rhymes
2pac greatest maybe?
Biggie not enough content (Big L even more so, not in the conversation for greatest imo)

Just my thoughts lol

Makes you appreciate it better I think when you know where the music is coming from

He was running the business at a certain time
Stepped down to let other artists blossom who was in his record label like Drake, who he created lyrics for (freestyled) and basically made Drake a star

He claims to have 1,000,000 unreleased songs

look at me when I’m talking to you
You looking at me, but I’m looking through you
I see the blood in your eyes
I see the love in disguise
I see the pain hidden in your pride
I see you’re not satisfied
And I don’t see nobody else
I see myself, I’m looking at the
Mirror on the wall

The song is dope bro

Proof did much better here

Reference explanation:
There’s a theory 2pac faked his death and went to Cuba

Both these videos reference it
