I’ve backed the patreon of someone in the past which had discord integration which awarded roles.
Through this roles the permissions were adjusted, and the channels allowed access to was way more chill then just an outright and open public server. (I normally mute the general channels 
)
Since there’s a tier now for the financial protector.
They can look into that too, plus it “self moderates” itself to a certain extent, because if you get banned you need to pay for another pateron sub ontop of needing another discord account to get back in.
