What i want to say to everyone that makes a discord account, Just to let you know. Your privates msg are not safe.
They have and will be looked at discord mods if somone reports your msg. Even if its just one report. They have been known to look at it. It is also stated on their website.
So if u got anything private to say, dont say it on discord.
Also be carefull who you add. Am not saying that as a high school teacher trying to protect somone from cyper bullying. LOL
On discord their have been accounts that have been hacked just by being friends with somone. Yes thats right, just friends not even messageing them or clicking a link.

Yea, thereās some real exploits going on for their programā¦ Thatās why there is 2FA, though that is a band aid approach.
I donāt mind helping out but I donāt know too much either, have not run my own server personally. I just made a private one to mess around with.
But first Iād look at the bots that help moderation, and also what goal you have in mind so the channel planning, permissions and roles get easier to sort out.
You can stream through discord, but you need nitro to stream at higher quality (believe it is 1080p vs 4k). But I donāt recall the limit of participants on the voice channels either

Tbh the discord was pretty bad when I first joined up, I actually commented something along the lines of I had to double check if this was a sapien medicine discord, it calmed down after a while and there were some chill people and familiar names that I saw, kinda cool. For what itās worth, the positives about that discord server for me was that I kinda had a broadened perspective on the different types of people who use these types of things, and seeing different forum members outside of the usual enlightened states forum.

a good way to verify the people entering the server is by using the phantom wallet.

My friend can write bot code, But then thats gets on the side of getting exploited.
Also their are people dont want a phatom wallet and might just lurk in the sever.

i spent some time on a few nft servers, and the way i got access to channels that only the nft holders could, was to verify the wallet using collab.land
this was for ETH wallets, but i guess it works for solana as well
so every member can send the wallet address to create a list and this will enable access
so if anyone enters the server, will see only 1 channel where you can verify the wallet, after you verify you get access to all the others channels
