I think the first and best way to improve is to stop viewing it from the lens of a medical diagnosis called schizophrenia. This term is just a cluster of symptoms that modern medical science has an extremely poor understanding of. Secondly, it’s about going back to the basics. Good fresh and unprocessed foods, exercise and plenty of time in nature. Finally, it’s about not judging oneself with with particular label and having as much self compassion and love as possible. Best if you open yourself up to unconditional love and trust the universe as well as yourself. This is what I would advise to anyone who’s going through symptoms that could be classed as psychotic. I would stay away from medication and advise working with a psychotherapist or a psychologist.
