So, to not add a few replies, I will try to use just one.

@JAAJ :joy::+1:

What belief? Sorry, sometimes I’m confused, with the replies and all.

Social nepotism, I like that term and I agree that sometimes it happens even if we try to not play favorites, I mean naturally I’m going to like someone who appreciates my own content, but probably it is an issue, perhaps not the greatest issue, but still…

So your previous comment was referring to Jaaj’s post/reply?

Well, we should live like it’s Christmas everyday. Here comes Santa with another like.

I just did.

It’s only a problem if You think it’s a problem.

Thank you, Atreides.
I think so too, well I wanted feedback, to see how you guys/others view this sort of “problem” (it’s not an important issue).
Edit: or perhaps it is an issue since I made this thread, but not a really important one, more like minor stuff.
Edit: I have to give credit to @zanderos for giving me the idea to ask this question/to make this thread, thanks to one of his topics. Hope you don’t mind the tag.

Haha, i don’t mind the tag - but i’m not going down this rabbithole again.

External validation seeking is a worldwide problem overall, but on the other hand, you can never show people too much support/love, so rather than seeing it as a like for a good quality contribution, you can see it as just sending some love to a person. That’s what I decided to see the “heart” button as at least. And this will be my only post in this thread

I understand.

If something is worldwide but you the one of every 1000 to have a problem then it’s not a problem

lol

If you like the post or support it, like it man lol

Yep, I’ll definitely continue to support you guys by liking your content (If I like it).
@PatronSaintBiceps Idk if your reply was for me, for Teo or for both?

I’m always confused with the/regarding replies lol.

Well that is the whole point of a ‘like’ button but that’s not the case on here though because it’s all about preferential treatment towards certain people rather than what they’re actually saying. Respect and recognition is based on your identity and beliefs from the perspective of users on here.

People will only ‘like’ if they like YOU (majority of the time anyway)… not your post/comment. This is what I was saying to @SoulStar33

You should ‘like’ the post or comment if you like and support it as you said. I liked your comment because I agreed and supported your point.

Yep, I think it’s better this way than just liking based on who is posting (although I’m not completely innocent of that either). :slightly_smiling_face::+1:
