I want to emphasize this point again since I looked into it again.
The increase in life span from about 2 to 4 years is the biggest increase in life span ever recorded in a mouse. At least I haven’t read of a higher one and chat GPT listed an increase of 65% as the biggest increase in life span in mice.
This makes it even weirder that there has never been a follow up on this study. They simply make one the most impressive studies in the history of science and then just walk away from it , like WTF 
Not only that, the mice did not show normal signs of aging, for example female mice remained fertile up to 35 months of age. Not only do mice from the same strain not remain fertile until that age, they don’t even life that long.
That’s the human equivalent of a 100 year old woman still getting pregnant .
