The Phantom Star (Luminous Decay)

Ok, here we go.

When I’m trying to pick fields to purchase, my process is a bit different than in the past.

It used to be:

Read the description and decide to buy or not.

Now it’s:

Write down the names of the new fields, find the 100/100s, then read the descriptions of those fields afterwards. It’s pretty cool to read the description of a field already knowing it’s completely compatible and beneficial for you.

Is this a necessary process for everyone? Nah, of course not. There are people here who can completely rely on intuition and other methods.

I’m bringing this up again because there are a lot of people (a lot of really great people) who I’ve seen “crash and burn” from using the wrong fields….or using the right fields the wrong way, or some combination of that. Or never even trying the fields that actually would’ve benefited them the most had they known.

I’m bringing this up because this field is one I may have overlooked a couple of years ago.

Captain has obviously continued to level up over the years and it seems as if this field is some wondrous hybrid next-gen version of The Karma Crucible and Soul Core Restoration. At least that’s what my testing is confirming as at least partly true. It’s likely a thousand times more complex than that and we’ll never fully understand exactly what is going on. All I know is that my spirit guides love it and my servitors Yggdrasil and Ouroboros absolutely love it as well. And that’s enough for me.

I’m not even entirely sure what prompted me to test this, but I’ll share what I’ve learned.

This field works best when lying down.

Percentage of soul intact prior to Phantom Star: 35%

Percentage of soul intact currently: 100%

I still don’t believe that, but every time I re-ask it’s the same answer. And every time I ask if it’s due entirely to this field I get a “YES”. My entire body was tingling after my session (15 loops) yesterday. I do feel more integrated as well.

Many of these new field descriptions are a bit more ambiguous (and poetic I suppose). I would just say that while this field might appear daunting on the surface, there’s a reward waiting for anyone who’s willing to look past that and see it for what it actually is.
