Yep, in my primary school, we were once introduced to these and that the choices of colours we painted them with were to reflect our traits (allegedly, some ppl would just return them white and they are supposed to be like clean and pure.). Also said that allegedly, monks were filling those with coloured sand and it got blown again and again, but believing when it’s done right or in accordance with something, it’ll stay in a way that no wind will blow it out.
