i avoided the trailers for a while because i thought it was gonna suck when the creators weren’t going to be involved with it…but it does look pretty good lol

I don’t think a tv version will come close to capturing the books.
Of course not. They never do. Still, a tv show can be entertaining enough…
The first season of the Chinese version—fairly faithful (though still missing — and adding —characters and scenes) to the first book—is on Amazon prime. The Netflix version will be more divergent, but that will probably work out.

A little late to this. 
I just stumbled upon this series. It’s so good. Just finished episode 2 and I’m reminded of Soul Continuum.
Love the concepts and tech in this show so far!

Which is odd because it’s really good imo.
I find that strange… Some really good TV shows don’t get renewed while worse ones do. I wonder what’s the criteria there.
For instance, Raised By Wolves is so fascinating… But ended after season 2. Which wasn’t an ending at all, they clearly wanted to continue with the story.
Oh well…

smart for the masses. Only the low IQ shows seem to get renewed.
Watch it again with the concept of soul continuum in mind.

Finished The Peripheral Season 1. I can’t believe this won’t be continued. 
This is way too good. Alternate life paths are what the soul continuum field is.

His Dark Materials… I cannot believe how good it is. And it’s getting better and better, really really impressive. I’m having feelings back to good old game of thrones times, when it actually got better and better yet remained unpredictable. Super nice!
