I was bored one day and started watching Warrior and was so surprised by how good it is. Highly recommend if you like this type of genre.

First two seasons are cool, then when they finish the real-world inspired material it gets a bit downslope.

3 Body Problem on Netflix was really good imo.
They have succesfully combined elements that go beyond only book 1, made a few changes to characters and plotlines, all very cleverly done and at a nice pace. Also nice modern twists and depicted nicely.

I just started watching it. On Episode 2 right now. It’s pretty great so far. Parts of me want to try the helmet and other parts say ‘Nope!’ :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Watched Dune 2 yesterday and I have to say it the same boring useless garbage and waste of time as part 1.

And one of the dumbest trash movies ever produced – it is literally more dumb than Power Rangers, Teletubbies and Barney The Dinosaur combined.

The following are just a few of the things that make ZERO sense in the movie:

Spoilers & Ranting

  • Boring knife fights with poor choreography

  • They have guns (small and big) but choose to use knives instead most of the time

  • When fighting with knives they are not using any shields

  • They are too stupid to use spears and long swords

  • They never heard of electro prods

  • The desert people are riding the sand worms like the metro

  • How do they dismount the worms?

  • The desert people don’t ever need to eat anything xD

  • The full on desert planet has apparantly unlimited breathable air, perfect for humans

  • They have unlimited energy sources for space travel, yet are too stupid to import water en mass onto the planet

  • The desert people have access to various underwater pools of water, yet never use them to improve their lives

  • Desert people have access to various types of high tech gear despite living in caves and tents and without any access to any factories producing such gear

  • 3 hours of bordem because nothing is really happening, 80% of the scenes are filler that don’t add anything to the story or explaining the Dune world

  • At the end of the 2nd movie the viewer still zero cares for any of the characters

  • No one ever seems to be in need of sunglasses - on a desert plnaet xD

  • All main characters are very much dislikeable

  • All the main characters and fractions always only care about power, never about freedom or improving the world in any way

  • In the dune world there are no computers, yet they have rocket targeting systems, space travel, helicopters etc.

  • All societies in the Dune world are feudal monarchies lol

  • Too many unanswered questions, do they expect everyone to having read the books?

  • The viewers never gets to know why they need to mine the spice and why everyone cares

  • Also Lea Seydoux, completely overrated actress

  • This movie is so bad, the good visuals, Hans Zimmer and the various famous actors cannot save it. I am rating it 1/10 for its absence of any logic and any emotional trigger.
