Except a little bit when I was a kid, I have not watched any Dune content.
Is older Dune content any better than the new Dune?
As far as I remember, the first Dune movie, was the pretty much just re-done in the first of the recent series.
So well…it had a better casting, and I don’t know if there is some remastered edition but I’d say…you’re good watching the first (of the recent ones).

Has anyone watched the Impractical Jokers show ? Their antics never gets old and I can binge-watch their episodes anytime 
. This is my most Favourite TV Show of all times, I enjoy it even more than Friends.
They have several clips of their Challenges on YouTube but I have rarely laughed as hard as I did on this Clip. The next most favourite clip of mine from this Show is the one below, and I LOVE all of these as they are complete Laugh-Riots.

This is actually a very old debate. By the numbers King Lear is a better play than Hamlet, but Hamlet wins because unanswered questions are more powerful than answered ones.
I think the more technical reason is that the ambiguity creates a space in the movie, play, work of art, etc., that the observer “fills”and in doing so “enters” the art and leaves the observer role behind. In economic terms, this can creates engagement and even spending to recapture that feeling. Eventually, sequels are created, things are explained, and the feeling is lost, e.g. Star Wars, Matrix, 2001/2010.

So far so good. 8/10.
I’d say it is something like Tensura meets LOTR but I realize I’m lacking in references here and people will say it has nothing to do with those.
Anyway it’s a good show. With some good dialogues spread here and there, superb animation, and great writing in a way (I mean, how do you make people nostalgic for something they don’t know?..well this is a good attempt).

Have now watched the “3 Body Problem” too.
Review and Rating (with heavy spoilers)
The Good:
- A little science stuff.
- Eiza Gonzales and her perfect jawline, maxilla, lips and legs.
- The best thing about the show is that it makes you go on YouTube in order to watch some real science about the Three Body Problem.
- There was only one good scene in the whole show (where the Chinese scientist receives the message from the ETs).
The Bad:
- While the show goes into science stuff, it is also very often bad science and often times irrational
- Almost no tension is coming up. The danger is almost never present or felt, that’s why one does not care about what is actually happening or about the characters.
- Too many filler scenes and during 75% of the time nothing of importance is happening. The show is very slow and actually very boring.
- The reasonings of the ET civilization makes no sense and is rather Kindergarten level.
- Several of the side plots do not add anything to the main plot.
- The behaviors of the government agencies in the series almost never makes any sense. Several key characters are never tracked or observed by the governments and can just do whatever they want at all times without the governments caring or knowing lol.
- Very materialistic. They are literally sending a brain into space, thinking that one’s personality is stored there.
- Aliens can scale nuclear particles like protons to any size but cannot get rid of one uncessery sun in their own solar system.
- Aliens can make any human on the planet see all types of holograms but are not using this tech to take over the world. Instead, they have to fly 400 years in lol.
- Aliens allow humans to successfully launch an anti-spy rocket into space without sabotaging the launch computers.
- How are the humans bringing 300 nuclear bombs into space? We never see how they launch 300 rockets to position those in space.
- How do the humans know from which direction the alien ships will be coming? Are they launching the rocket into a random direction?
- The aliens can send VR helmets to earth in an instant but need 400 years to fly through space?!?!
- It is one of those cheap Netflix mass productions.
- The ending makes no sense and does not answer any questions. I guess this is because they expect the viewer to having read the books?
- Show is written by the same dudes (David Benioff, D. B. Weiss.) who completely ruined the last season of Game of Thrones.
My Rating: 3/10 = way below average
