I’m a history professor in the Deep South, though I’m originally from the West Coast. I love all things mystical, but I have to be in the “closet” about it down here. So I’m very glad to be a part of this forum! Also, I value my privacy more than anything, so I won’t say in which state I reside, nor in which field of history I specialize. Not that anyone would ask, and I apologize if that seems standoffish… It’s just that living in the Bible Belt while having my proclivity for mysticism has made me somewhat paranoid of being “outed.” I’m happy to share anything which can’t identify me though! Mostly, I’m hoping to get new ideas from this forum, and new things to try, i.e., new books, meditations, supplements, and of course SM stacks!
