A little theory of mine

I made up this little theory and wanted to share.

“If the senses are an extension of our mind, and for example when we hear someone speaking, the sound we hear is in our mind, then what if when we think in words, we don’t make them up, we hear them from another reality plane using different senses for it.”

Nice plot twist. Instead of saying the words we think others speak are made up in our mind, even the thoughts we think are spoken in reality. That’s more or less the idea behind at least one teaching on clairaudience I’ve come across.

If so, what do you think the implications of this are? Should we change what we think? Or should we change how we view what we think? What do you think?

If thats the case, I think we should understand that words we think are not only in our head as closed system, but are actually impacting external world.

I think so. It brings up another question too. If when we think we are hearing ourselves speak on an astral or some other dimension then we are thinking before we think. So our thoughts aren’t coming from our brain but to our brain. Maybe they are coming from our heart. And/or we are not thinking in linear time if we “speak” our words before we say them. We would be always hearing from our past self or a part of our self that is not fully tied into our moment by moment existence like our normal consciousness seems to be. If we know that our thoughts aren’t coming from a place quite so ruled by time we can open up to and allow thoughts in that would usually seem illogical if we firmly believed in time’s cause and effect. Maybe then our self would see that we are open to it speaking more of what is true to it and our thought life would change accordingly.

This ties into my destiny only theory. There is no ‘free will’ in the absolute sense. Although I don’t think that’s an excuse to excuse anybody of poor decisions.

Maybe it also would make the idea of time travel through consciousness more accepted as a possibility by our subconscious mind.

You mean, going back in time and inhabiting the body of your past self?

Butterfly Effect style. Great movie.

I had nightmares of it haha. But yeah I was also thinking of the way Wolverine travels back in time in Days of Future Past.
