Addiction break, sharing, and support

I hope this is useful.

This thread is for anyone who wishes to share something in place of their habit or whatever.

So for instance you can come here and share something about the things that you love, or just something you wish to share or express.

A positive kind of venting if you will.

Okay I’ll go first.

Sharing in place of a coffee…

Something that I’ve found useful.

Shaking. The body as a way of releasing stress and tension.

There are exercises you can look up that facilitate this.

One very simple way is to simply stand straight, bend at the knees slightly and then shake up and down releasing stress, tension, and all else the body stores.

This is great as can be easily done anytime. Say for instance you work standing up all day. A little bit of this kind of shaking relieves the strain and elevates the mind.

Also. I learnt from watching a Mantak Chia video that animals do this to release trauma and all else. Animal = very in touch with their own bodies, I assume, because the mind is not so complex, nor their social relations (human perspective).

Well, I thought about the idea of a Demiurge, why we “must” suffer because of our mistakes (especially since or when we don’t know better or the outcome or even what we are doing, many times - sometimes we do), why is there suffering and karma in the first place and although I have no answer (maybe truly creation is evil, as some mystics concluded millenia ago, maybe it’s a trap, maybe it’s just our choice - which our? Our higher self? Anyway…) to these questions, an interesting answer (still) presented itself in my mind: no matter what is “the answer”, I still have to improve, to make my life better, to
become healthier and thus to IMPROVE/RAISE MY FREEDOM AND Possibilities - The Higher, the Healthier and Better You Are, You See more Clear, you understand better, you CHOOSE Better, So the conclusion is that I have to Be/Get Better/HIGHER (on multiple fronts
: health, finances, spirituality, etc.), That is The Answer - at least for me, at least in this Reality and through getting higher, through raising my Consciousness and My Whole Condition and Being (in this world), I can then Change Myself even Better and Faster…

Cold showers are beneficial alternative to stimulants. I find them really helpful

Popeyes chicken sandwich is so good. Had it last night. It’s so juicy :heart_eyes: though I should be eating vegetarian but I just realized we now have Popeyes. So instantly ordered one. Not disappointed! It’s delicious af

It’s one of my addiction that I relapsed. But I’m back again as vegetarian of course.

Their biscuit taste gross to me.

Solutions To bad intrusive thoughts or how to have them less often:

Walking, movement, sports - these all help

Certain fields - Brain Fields, mental health fields, self love fields

Energy work, Meditation (sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t, since uncotrollable/intrusive thoughts - of all sorts, enter the mind randomly and sometimes not so randomly, there might be some patterns)

Medication (?) (maybe, but I want to avoid it, as much as possible)
