I’ve been suffering from maladaptive daydreaming for 4 years now, is there anything I can do to get rid of it? I waste a lot of time doing it at first, I think its a coping mechanism

Not sure about a field, but Wholeness Work sounds like it’s perfect for your situation. Or go to a reputable nlp or hypnosis coach. Not sure how much money you have to invest but it’s well worth it sometimes.

Maladaptive day dreaming is because over active third charka. Balancing the area will help reducing the issue. Start from ground then upward chakra.
