In my opinion, mirror is the work of the devil (i don’t believe in actual devils, i think…) but it’s harmful to your spirituality in many ways. It’s the same when people look in the mirrrors to see if they’re “glowing” or not. Mirror only reflects your subconcious belief of yourself which is in the vast majority of times not 100% of what you want it to be, you will find flaws, focus on them, want to better them etc.
Mirrors will always, and only show the external you, it will not show and reflect your inside, your aura, your charisma or any of that, that people will see and sense from you when you interact with them in real life.
Optimal is to just remove every single mirror you have in your home, perhaps use one for brushing teeth if there are places you need to brush them. But just never look at yourself, it creates and cements an image of you that is not real. You will never be able to change externally if you do look at yourself in the mirror every day. Sure, sometimes you feel handsome and great - but then what? You receive validation from external sources, from your looks. What’s the point? What happens when that validation is taken away from you because the very next day you look in the mirror, you see your flaws instead, and your mood becomes negative.
Don’t seek validation from external sources, ever. Not your looks in particular. It has to come from within if you’re ever going to feel content and be able to really, really love yourself and every aspect of yourself.
