Hi there, I just signed up for Patreon and see that we can download all the files. If we ever decide to cancel out Patreon membership, will those files still be active?

If we purchase through gumroad and transfer between or download to email / phone/ laptop…how does the legendary file know it is still legit. And if we purchase through gumroad will we always have access in case it gets lost (asking as I lost all my audio files last month due to no icloud backup)…learned my lesson, but just curious. Thanks in advance!!

hello

the audios work if you cancel your patreon membership but only till the 5$ tier. The 22 you have to constantly have the membership

and you can you from every device no problem at all. I download and upload to google drive and then I download from every device i am in

Sorry not sure I follow your patreon comment. So I can only lower my tier to $5 to have full access? i currently have the highest tier and am using 1 audio from that tier. If I wanted to cancel membership, could I just purchase that audio or only available on Patreon? Curious how that technology works, since I downloaded the file to an external app.

there are tiers where the videos get released

some are 1.5 euro some 5 some 22 right?

If you have 22 then ONLY the videos on 22 are for subscription

you have access to 5 euro tier which will be permamently open as you downloaded and also 1 which will be too open if you have it downloaded.

That;s about it

The 22 you have to have continued subscription to use them and work

Welcome to the forum!

As @anon51404939 said, all the files on the “Full YouTube Audio Access” (AKA $4.50) subscription tier will continue to be active, even after you cancel your Patreon membership. The fields on the higher-priced “Premium” tier are only active for as long as you pay your subscription.

The file knows it’s still legit because you own those accounts and devices. It also knows from your intentions. If you intend something not legitimate, the field will know and will not be active.

You will “always” have access as long as you keep your emails from Gumroad (because they have the download link and are your paper trail in case you need to contact Gumroad support) and as long as Gumroad exists in its current form (which is a nice way to strongly suggesting to you that you get backup).

No. If you lower your tier to $5, your Premium tier fields will stop working for you.

The lower tier fields, however, will continue to work for you.

No. It’s only available as a subscription service on Patreon.
