But I have to say it:
I think you did not read the manual carefully.
In the manual, it says:
“When you have no tasks for him, do not work he will not follow you
around like a helpless puppy, he will be up to his own workings or
resting so that he keeps growing and getting stronger and learning new
things, in fact you can teach it new things or let it observe energy or
magical working so it would be able to do it as well.”
I don’t wanna sound like I am scolding, and I don’t want to be the one who tells you what you should or shouldn’t do, but here is my perspective:
Dragons are ancient creatures (its written in the manual). Due to that, I would approach them with a high degree of respect. Ask yourself, you forgetting its name - are you sure you wanted a dragon in the first place? Because you did not interact much and you forgot its name.
With that aside, you can approach your dragon and explain honestly that you forgot its name and wish to give it a new name. I think it will accept.
And then start giving it tasks. We have many posts on how to interact well.

Thanks a lot,my bad totally…I was excited some months ago to work with This being,but due to some circumstances,I was not able to communicate much,infact I totally forgot about it… shouldn’t have donne this…but yeah I will rename it now and work with it and will ‘obey’ your perspective too…Thanks again…
