Just relax
And let go
As if you are in a bathtub
With bubbles
And a duck

Thanks for the suggestions

This reminds me of probably the most important and more annoying lesson my Dad taught me and my sisters.

We would ask him for something or permission for something and he would just plain say NO. And continue doing whatever he was doing.

And we would be like huh? Why?

  • because No.

But why? I did this good and that good, etc

  • just No.

But i need an explanation why is not fair.

“The answer is No, and its better to learn from now that there are a lot of NOs without explanations in life, you will encounter a lot of those, if you could not grasp the meaning behind then you simply need to accept it and move on”

Now he didnt say no so much to us, in fact when he did it always came as a shock because he was always so open and generous, beyond that actually.

Again, i think it was the most annoying lesson growing up, but it has paid off a lot of times, it builds resilience and acceptance, the potential to release control and trust those in charge, avoiding stress and help you focus in what really matter.

More times than no when ive encountered one of those Nos without any or barely any explanation and just surrender to what is, ill find out later that the outcome was bigger for all involved AND at times more satisfactory and rewarding for me.

Just accepting, let go and flow.

Ah how i miss that wise man in my life :sleepy:

And also the one thing that i always remember from “The Power of Now” By Eckhart Tolle is:

You always have 3 options when you dont like something or is not going in the way youd like:

1- accept it how it is and surrender
2- dont want to accept it? Then change it
3- cant change it but also dont want to accept it? Then leave the situation.

You have only one choice and you must choose NOW.

That is the power of now. To keep you grounded in the present.

If you exercise that, youll find that a lot of times we are just whining, when your mind tells you the #2 we quickly realize that a lot of times we cant, and when we remember the #3 and we cant or dont want to leave the situation/person/place then we quickly shut up lol and go with the flow, and instead focus on the things we can accept, change or start.

I never surrender. But what mostly works for me is accepting that “I will understand it in the future. And if don’t understand it in the future then I still reserve myself the right to get angry if I tsill choose to do so.”.

This way, my ego doesn’t get the feeling that “it has been ignored or defeated or humiliated”.
And it also cannot argue against this because it knows from experience that the understanding will be there and revealed sooner or later.

This also works in the opposite direction when you have to say “no” to someone.
Simply add “but I promise you will understand why in the future”.

This is surrendering

Surrendering is not giving up.

Is letting go of the tight grip of wanting to control a situation at that moment.

And let the flow continues its course and show you

2 things could happen:

The later on moment arrives and you realize it was actually great how it happened, should you have not surrendered at that moment you would have stayed in a loop with no movement.

Or

The energies and circumstances around the “whatever thing” accommodate and then the way you wanted shows that the right moment is now not before so you can act.

And per my experience countless of times as soon as i genuinely from the core surrender, the energy of the thing switches and gives way, moves and quickly brings me a better thing or the actual thing i wanted but opening the path in a different way.

Almost like a reward for going with the flow of the universe.
