Favorite Song Lines?

Hey y’all, some lyrics came to my head and i wondered if there was a thread for favorite song lines and i couldn’t find any so I’m making one lol (if there is lmk and I’ll delete)

These are the lyrics i was talking about,

In my mind I’m a fighter,
My heart’s a lighter
My soul is the fluid,
My flow sparks it right up
Arsenic writer,
Author with arthritis
Carpal tunnel,
Marshall will start shit-itis

From No Apologies by Eminem

Probably not the best lyrics to set it off for the thread but it’s what i had in mind and it’s good haha

When I lived in the city there was this band The Dirty Urchins that started showing up wherever I went, just synchronicity they’d be in the parks and so would I, I’d catch them at Washington square, over by Bethesda fountain, etc they just kept popping up and I liked their stuff. I think they stayed small but they’re on iTunes and stuff. The album I was most familiar with was “Late As Usual” here’s some lyrics from “Rolling with Virgil”

Well I’m walking round midtown Manhattan
Virgil says, I know where somethings happening
Takes me up to the 50th floor
Close your eyes and count to three

From “Don’t Let The Bastards Grind You Down”

Now there is a woman,
Let’s call her miss cupcakes,
And she works in a wicked saloon
She’ll marinate her chicken in your heartache,
Dance in your skin by the light of the moon
Hey hey

“I wasn’t poor, I was po’ - I couldn’t afford the ‘o-r’”

Is another good one by him, this one comes to my mind sometimes haha he’s sick man

He has a lot of crazy ones, he’s like immortal technique but with a better flow and rythm, though i think immortal technique is more impressive from a lyrical point of view, I’d quote some but they may be unsavory lol

Second things second
Don’t you tell me what you think that I could be
I’m the one at the sail, I’m the master of my sea

Kick start the golden generator
Sweet talk but don’t intimidate her
Can’t stop the gods from engineering
Feel no need for any interfering
Your image in the dictionary
This life is more than ordinary
Can I get two, maybe even three of these
Coming from space
To teach you of the Pleides
Can’t stop the spirits when they need you
This life is more than just a read-through

Here I come to find myself, catch the tide,
Looking for a peace at the end of the line.
Sometimes I can’t help myself, fever’s high,
I’m all at sea and so unwise.

I’m so afraid I’ll lose your love, as time goes by,
But courage is a fire and a beacon so bright.
The sunset built a memory, our love sign,
And all at sea we come alive.

Will I wash away, turning like a stone?
I need a place where I belong.
Call a setting sun to throw me down a rope
And take me to a place called home.

I close my eyes, I know you’re there, love of mine,
Standing on the shore in a world I design.
The sunset fires a lonely flare into the sky,
And all at sea we say goodbye.

Will I wash away, turning like a stone?
I need a place where I belong.
Call a setting sun to throw me down a rope
And take me to a place called home.

Looking for a place called home.
