Frag Lovers and Scent heads! (Cologne and perfumes) đŸ„°

one of my favourite perfumes is Le Jardin De Monsieur Li, which is a sunny, citrusy and spicy fragrance that I adore. It’s like a garden in full sun, with all kinds of mediteranean herbs, and somewhere, for several seconds, the gorgeous fragrance of a true Lilium regale appears, then it hides, letting the juicy spices to keep going for hours and hours.
On fragrantica some people said it is the scent of happiness

As for sandal perfumes, i am still hugely impressed by a pure essential Indian sandal oil, undilluted, that smells so powerful and gorgeous

Void my previous comment @Rosechalice. Lol It seems Vibrato has been reformulated. People told me to let it macerate for some months and the performance and etc should improve. Will let you know

Okay, so I used the “Summer Hammer” from Lorenzo Pazzaglia today and it smells a shit ton better at night time and in cool weather than what the name implies. I tried wearing it one time when it was hot outside and it didn’t smell anywhere near as good as it did today. Kinda cloying even
But today it smelled so wonderful

Okay, so it’s Winter time, and you know what that means. Time to bring out the heavy, rich and dark scents. All the spicy ones too. And of course all the gourmands. I had recently gotten a bottle of “Dark Knight” from, Alexandria Fragrances come in. And I also had a sample of the OG, from Kilian called, “Black Phantom”. I sprayed one on one wrist, and one on the other. I shit you not, I absolutely COULD not tell the difference.

All the notes were there in Alexandria’s version, and so smoothly blended. It’s all there. The dark chocolate, the rich caramel, dense and creamy coffee note, the slight booziness of the rum
It’s all there. Damn this shit smells so good :joy:
I know it’s a really sexy scent but I am wearing it before bed now. lol If any of you are able to get your nose on the OG, and then try a sample of Alexandria’s inspiration of it, I shit you not
I bet you some money you absoluteley CANNOT tell the difference between the two.

Thinking of getting Oud for Glory, anyone got any experience with this one?

I have not smelled this one, but heard wonderful things about it. I suggest DO NOT BLIND BUY. Lol Test it first. I only sniffed the Neo version of OFG and it’s very nice. Fresh but doesn’t smell very niche, but I heard they’d changed it from the original DNA of the OG

Two of my brothers gave me a bottle of Montblanc Starwalker for my birthday. What a pleasant coincidence! I loved the scent its woody, reminiscent of marine notes, and I love the seađŸ„°

The price on black friday is totally worth a blind buy, I just love Oud fragrances i’d even wear it in the summer lol.
I would get Oud for Greatness but the price tag between the two Oud for Glory and Greatness is what makes the difference

Is your collection ‘endless’? :grinning:

Oh, I would definitely say the OFG Neo version is blind buy worthy. Lol I smelled it so long ago so I can’t really say I remember how it smells, but what I do remember was it was very mass appealing and very pleasant to smell. I can’t imagine anyone not liking it. OFG on the other hand, I have heard many wonderful things bout it but hadn’t smelt it yet, so I can’t suggest to do so. lol Plus I heard some people not liking it, but it’s ‘niche’ scent generally liked by many.

I also restrict myself not to only sales haha
But tbh I needa to stop. I still have some I haven’t like fully worn so Ima make a new years resolution regarding fragrances
I gotta use some of the ones I have first, which are great lol
It’s gonna be a rough black friday tho

Still rocking the Dua you bought me bro
Typically mixing it with a Versace one that my dad got me
 Eau Fraiche Versace
I like the combo

Since Versace is lighter I put it in my shirt on my torso
And the stronger Dua I put on my neck and sometimes wrist

I have actually improved lol
I quit thinkin bout them so much during the last coupla of seasons. But round the holidays
I just get that holiday spirit. The last one I want, if I see a good deal on is
‘Virgin Island Water’ from Creed. I love this scent so much and Dua’s version that I got, it’s not very strong surprisingly. (Most are, but some aren’t) I got a hybrid version of that mixed with BR540, and it doesn’t give enough sillage, which is important to me. I wanna smell it on me too as I walk cuz what’s the point of me spraying something I can’t smell, but only others can? No sense lol

Hell yeah man, I got lucky they mixed good

I understood your combo motivations better first hand

It’s like layers that become undone depending how close one is

Definitely bless up your colognes bro

You can carry lots of energies in scents and even make em better scented

Each layer of each accent carries an energetic conversation of their own

Amplify alter and add on to things you like
The moods the smells speak of and what not
