✅ Friendly Reminder: You Need Crypto to Send NFTs

Hey everyone,

We’ve noticed a growing number of users asking us to assist in obtaining crypto for sending NFTs. Just a quick heads-up to clarify how this works:

To send or receive NFTs, you must have a small amount of cryptocurrency (like Solana, Polygon, etc.) in your wallet to cover the transaction fees (a.k.a. gas fees).

But do remember:

:warning: Moderators are not responsible for funding your wallets. We can oversee your transactions and help out if needed, but it was never really our responsibility to help you obtain crypto to finalize a deal. That’s on you.

If you’re new to this, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Buy crypto from a trusted exchange like Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.
  2. Transfer the required amount (usually a small amount is enough) to your NFT wallet (like Phantom for Solana and for Polygon).
  3. Then, you’ll be able to send NFTs yourself — no need to involve anyone else!

We have helped out many users on multiple occasions, but we consider it best that from now on, everyone takes this responsibility for themselves. And its cool to learn about crypto, wallets and NFTs anyway.

:warning: Please remember: Always double-check wallet addresses and never share your private keys or seed phrases.

We appreciate everyone learning and growing in the space — let’s keep the forum focused, helpful, and safe for everyone.

Thanks for understanding!
