It is honestly some pretty interesting times in Germany. Change definitely is needed. However I sense most who say they want change are actually power hungry. Despite being a democracy, the appointed leaders all more or less feel like they simply wanna maintain power instead of putting the people first. Although I do believe some exist anyways.
Anyways it’s gonna be interesting no matter what. What I personally find peculiar is that the debates in the Bundestag were usually very respectful 10-20 years ago. I don’t know when the shift happened but nowadays people interrupt each other and shout in-between. To be frank, such behaviour is like high school or middle school and seeing “highly sophisticated” politicians act like this definitely makes the average citizen very disheartened and in disbelief about the leadership in the country.
