Does this mean servitor will automatically do this depending on the situation without the user activation or it need to be activated each time?
You could do both:
- tell your servitor how you want it to automatically use gluttony
- and activate gluttony however you like whenever you like
Depending on what you prefer, you can tell your servitor that manual activation supersede the automatic use, or the other way around.

I suppose there could be even be places of negative energy, where a person would find themselves being drained of energy if they remained there.
Not gonna happen. There’s a ability called uno reverse in this where the negative energy is transmuted into useful energy. You’d be feeding off of the negative energy basically. Who needs Ghostbusters?
