My friend, i would say, be comfortable in what you do.
The path to enlightenment isnt a direct set of rules, it requires you to continue this line of questioning and ‘grow’ from it.
If you feel comfortable in Christianity, then progress along that path.

Without path bearers the unknown way forward is difficult.
