How's everyone? Give yourself a moment

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to check in with everyone. How’s everyone doing?

I’m writing this as I’m contemplating on the sofa. Listening to the wind outside, it’s like the mind can breathe a refresher. Plus nice thoughts are coming in.

We’re slowly nearing end of year. I consider it a good moment to take inventory of your accomplishments this year. You can pick any period of time for this though. How far have you progressed? Which areas have you neglected? Has the journey been hard? Has it been easy?

Give yourself a moment of brief retreat. Simply go within and thank yourself for how far you’ve come and which beautiful goals you’re still striving for.

Don’t worry if you think you haven’t accomplished much yet. We are our own best critics. Applies to me too. But we needn’t always be that harsh to ourselves.

Give yourself some space. Simply relax. Go have a foot massage. Take a bath. With bubbles. And some rubber ducks. Go out into nature (I heard a statistic that we’re staying indoors 92% of the time…). Have a drink with friends. Sing out loud. And not only in the shower. Raise both arms into the air as if you won a trophy :trophy:. Read a wonderful book. Cook a lovely meal. Drink a hot coffee (unless you are me and still on a no-coffee challenge). All this is self-love and self-care.

Nurture your spirit, nurture your mind and nurture your body. You can explore ways for all of these. Actively seek out a new hobby. Challenge yourself! Don’t concern yourself with failure, just get started. Do something every day.

If you like, do share the lessons you’ve learned here. The acquired wisdom is important and will come in handy for any future endeavor. And by sharing you might unknowingly help others too. Always a good thing.

Feel and sense the beauty life has to offer. Take it one step at a time. Take the step and enjoy fully.

Appreciate yourself and all those around you.

Been contemplating on Neville’s “The Pearl of Great Price”. Seems like with the challenge more of what’s not me is coming into awareness.

That is the one in which he says you have to be ready to give up everything, right?

You have the right lecture, but not really giving up everything. More like not outsourcing power, thinking that you can avoid being the operant power in your personal world. I think that doesn’t apply to tools, as long as we don’t give them the power.

It’s kill or be killed 24/7

Cant relax at all anymore.

It has been an interesting journey so far frfr. I mainly have been focusing on spiritual pursuits and I can say I’ve grown a lot as of late in a lot of different ways. From how grateful I’ve become to everything all the way to how I deal with stressful situations has been even better than before. It’s has not been easy but I’m grateful to even be able to experience it. Also I’ve been more consistent with meditation so that’s made me happy.

That’s terrible fam. I hate to hear that but it was pretty terrible on my end as well. It seems to be looking. I hope things get better for you where it’s not like that soon.

Ahhhh I see. Even though it still sucks that’s better to hear. I’ve literally been going through the same though. A couple of times I thought I might lose my mind :joy::joy::joy:

If I have to take stock of this year:

5x past year’s help
10x the effort
Same/worse results. So basically like every year.

Greetings.

Battling depression atm. Because no friends or girlfriend in my 30s, and living in a whole island where people are toxic. Harrassment is a sport both in family and in general.

But other than that im fine

2025’s been a surprisingly slow burn - but in a good way. I always imagined that this was the year where I’d get that achievement or reach that certain goal, and so on; but it’s almost been the opposite. If anything I have made the greatest progress by letting go and embracing inner acceptance.

My field-regimen(s) is a pretty appropriate example: I used to be one of those desperate listeners, if ya know what they’re like; I’d constantly hop between fields, topics and playlists in search of those necessary results (like fitness, or NoFap); every field would be the one, for however long anyway! But it didn’t last. All I ended up with was a cluttered aura and a knackered system! So I cut back and had a rest, an energetic snooze if you will. I only use Dream’s fields/productions now and I’ve never felt better!

And so it is in other parts of my life: I could go on and on about how I’ve changed and what I’ve done, but I do not exactly have the time right now, or a desire to bore the reader so - for the sake of summary - I have matured in my spiritual journey (as a Christian, personally, all thanks to God) and focused inwards to reap the most abundant rewards!

Cutting out all the noise and going back to basics has certainly done me good. More importantly, building a stronger foundation in all regards has done wonders; I simply have learnt how to love myself! I can’t explain how it happened (I never can!) but I certainly possess a better understanding of myself deep down.

And so on and on and on, et cetera…

The result: I have never felt like myself, or loved myself, or been so content in my life before!
