I think I overcame my addiction

Okay so up until month ago I was a substance user
I’ve been using stuff nearly every day for 8 years
But lately my dealer was out of stock and I tried the alternative with amino acids
It was a big fail because the dose was too high
Anyway
Since then I haven’t used
But today my dealer hit me up so I went and got some, mainly out of curiosity
I tried like 1/10th and wow
It was really bad
I normally enjoyed it but this time it’s a complete opposite
It annoys me, my thoughts are a mess and I sense my dragon less strongly
Literally zero pleasure in this
I can’t wait for it to wear off it just bothers me is all
So I removed all stuff from my house
I don’t see myself needing it any more

I couldn’t possibly imagine that I would be able to recover in such a short amount of time
Such a blessing
Thank you so much everyone who has ever helped me
Love you guys

You been clean, its a fucking war. I love tabs see it ony avatar (white on white lol) but addiction fucked up every thing for me. Youd think a 17yr old im 2007 discovering Capt on a forum would be making billions but addiction doesn’t descriminate. Quir fast and never look back, so many felonies I got selling and buying but Capt burried me out with these fields. A normal person would never have a career with my record. Its been since 2014 that I got locked up but the deasease was never/ no cure at all. Just managed it every second

Amazing man :raised_hands:, well done. Keep doing every thing u do to get rid of the addiction. Because I have read stories that people fall back into their addictions after quitting their meetings and so on.

Am not trying to little ur success.

I don’t know what is this exactly
But it’s something bigger than me
Higher self or higher beings, I don’t know
I feel like being guided
It’s like I was trying to move forward in the dark, couldn’t see shit, but then someone lend me a hand, literally, and is pulling me along

Congrats!
I’m still fighting my addictions, you should always find time to help, strengthen and heal yourself, since addictions can come back, unfortunately, but, you know you can defeat them, don’t let addiction own you, since you must own your body, mind, pleasures, insticts, etc., you are the whole of your being and any pleasure/addiction that does any harm is not worth having/choosing/letting it be (also any addiction or pleasure is smaller in comparison to your own good/wholeness) …

That’s a great advice!

I wish you only successes in all your struggles, you know you can do it! :grinning:

Keep going. I stopped smoking weed at the end of July as well as quitting porn and other things I cut out my life. It’s not always easy to resist indulging but the stronger willpower is worth it! We as a community are here for you. You have all the tools here to continue on your path of sobriety if that is what you wish.

May I suggest Childhood Revision which is a free audio. Many addictive issues and negative patterns in our adult life stem from our childhood. Since listening to that audio and Blueprint of The Past, I’ve found it easier to make healthier decisions for myself without feeling like I’m being tempted by the devil himself.
