I’m thinking Parade by Susumu Hirasawa in Paprika, for me it has this note of addictive distortion (whatever that is for me) that I really like, like becoming lucid during fever-like dream
When I was in my teens and my daydreams reflected my feelings of being in my villain era I thought appearing with The Black Archbishop Keyes theme from Fairy Tail in the background would be super badass

I don’t know what kind of life you have or what you’re focusing on, but I can imagine a motivational adult anime movie (sport biography) about bodybuilding (says in your profile…) with a Good Will Hunting (dunno if you’ve seen this movie?) narrative vibe to it
