Is there any sale going on right now?
Because I see the same on the shop page of the website but once it redirects me to gumroad page it does not give me any option to enter the coupon code?

That was a Black friday/cyber monday sale. I understood an extra sale is coming up (Christmas holidays indeed)

Just pay attention to the Announcements category. Usually, that’s where the sales are announced.
