Limitless Horizons (Public Community Project)

Thank you for the heads-up mate! And for the supporting words :) Seriously need this to progress further, I believe we all had enough of limitations imposed on us we want to get rid of for good

I suppose for the people who donā€™t get this SLR v3 and malleable ego with enough time and effort can get similar results potentially. IMO I doubt if it was crucial to need this as well dream would release it with limited copies.

This seems like a private project. But it isnā€™t password protected. Or am I wrong? I just saw a post that had 77 voters and this had 77 copiesā€¦

More than 50 copies projects are public by default. The only strong way to assist those who signed explicitly would be unique one-purchase codes issued per person who voted with expiration date in say 7 days to make it possible for initial ā€œsupportersā€ to buy, but not constrain selling too much. In case of public projects with relatively limited number if copies.

the amount of people interested

minus those who said were interested but wont get it
plus those who werent interested and will get it

remaining as 77

hm not necessarily i think, but thereā€™d be bunch of unpurchased copies when reserved for quite long

Yes, thatā€™s why I say reservation period can be limited to one week for example. In case of public project that has number of copies matched by number of voters.

Initially a community project turned public. Now I see people already offering extra copies in buy/sell thread. Imo this is somewhat abusive, no?

Maybe (just maybe) rules should change a bit. If private projects become public ie 50+ copies then people who voted in community should get some sort of grace period and 1 copy per wallet before project is publicly released. Otherwise people who really rooted for this but were not ready financially may have to buy their copies for inflated prices from community members who happened to have the cash.

Guilty as charged, I once did not buy my own copy.

Iā€™d say these can be auctioned off by admin / project lead then. For example, I do remember that LittleOwl offered extra copies from projects he initiated for 2x minting price (imo this is fair for an unpurchased copy). Maybe even lotteried.

Well, the whole reason for waiting and discussing this project was using one universal multitool without time and effort loss.

But I didnā€™t notice any extra copies offered yet for Limitless Horizons, just cheked a second ago after reading your message. Now there are less unique holders than copies sold, but not by an egregious extent. One person buying two copies for whatever reason isnā€™t an issue, from my perspective, unless itā€™s strictly 10-15 people project. Grace period is definitely a good decision as well as limiting anyone to buy only one copy during this time and open purchasing for everybody after.

Got my copy (50/77) by the skin of my teeth  Yay!

Okay, this hits HARD. Headache. State of being slightly lost. But wow it does the job.

Congrats to Dream and Veh on a fantastic collab!
