There is indeed sth about British pubs tbh… I am not entirely sure how to phrase it but pubs in England are vastly different than bars in Germany. Its the entire flair and ambience. Pubs are cozy and welcoming; they are inviting you in. But bars don’t have that same aura about them.
To me personally, pubs everywhere around the world, feel like places of escapism.
People go there to primarily numb themselves down with the alcohol drug. Especially in Germany. A lot of “defeatism mindset” energies in there
