Marry my husband?!

I know my title sounds really weird, but guys, have you heard about this series called as " Marry my husband? " it’s a k-drama and what really happens is the main lead of the show basically is suffering from cancer and her husband and her best friend basically are plotting to kill her for insurance money and guess what they actually do that and she dies, but wait, its not over yet, when she dies, she basically comes back to life but she goes back 10 years but with all the knowledge from her current self and also is aware about all the things that are going to happen, so, of course she takes necessary steps and avoids everything that could lead to her cancer growth and also breaks off things with her to be husband but she also realizes that even if she knows everything there is something else that will happen to complete the course of cause and effect but she also basically understands that she can avoid it if there is someone else on her place to avoid something happening to her, I love this concept so much and it’s so effing crazy if we thing about something like, I wonder what possibilities it could bring in our life if we ever had the power to possess some tool that could help us or at least change the course of action or avoid things, I do understand we have something potent called as probability wave that could at certain degree help us.

what are your thoughts on this?

This sounds very interesting. I think I need to watch this.

Right now, I am watching this. It also deals with death and being given a new chance to restart

Did I understand this correctly?

You want a tool to make someone receive the negative that was in store for you?

Hm…Maybe the Captain can make a “get Isekai’d with great stats/invincible buff” field. That’d be great.

no no, not at all, I would never want anyone else to go through something for my benefit, that just does not fit right with me, I am just discussing about something that really fascinated me and wanted to discuss with you guys because if spoke about quantum jumping, time travel with ordinary people, I will sound foolish to them.

I’m glad to know xD. I mean…it would bring karma anyway. It would become a never ending cycle.

So…I’m not sure how ready we are for these kinds of things. I read the soul can easily decide to incarnate in the same life again and re-do it…as many times as they want until they get it right, if they wished.

They wouldn’t know anything though. They’d start over like the first time.

But it isn’t interesting for most people’s souls so it isn’t a common experience.

I also remember in some matrix energetics book, some incredible anti-aging experience. I don’t remember exactly but I think it was someone going back a few years near instantly. It was just a “show”. Then they got their usual look back again.

So yeah…I’m not sure we’ll be allowed such experiences.

hmmm makes sense, some people could use it productively and then some could use it in negative ways so it will always create a possibility for infinite things happening thus never-ending cycle.

Pardon me, but this whole thread…
I’ve been specifically thinking and trying this for the past week – earlier too. As far as I am aware, I don’t know the theory of quantum jumping.
I haven’t been watching movies, but these ideas have been coming up for me a lot.
I did a meditation a while ago on the Heart Sutra (but who knows if that was it): people going forward in their lives which they were living within the chambers of a seashell. When they would reach the end of the ‘allotted space’ - the wall of the chamber, that ‘story’ would end, but they would just move on into to next chamber, as if nothing happened. Except in the case in which they would die before they died, which would break open the walls of the shell, break the cycle, and that would allow them to travel outside their previous bounds.

Interesting!

That’s a great premise. However, the going back to the past with all knowledge intact is so overdone (especially in manwha, I think it’s called regression or regressing?). It’s not even beating a dead horse anymore; the horse is already buried, and you’re still tap dancing on its grave jk lol. At it’s core, it’s a wish-fulfillment fantasy that is playing on people’s regret and what ifs. But don’t get me wrong it’s still better than transmigration and reincarnation since that’s a full on self insert wish-fulfillment fantasy. At least regression has redemption.

Anyway, maybe I will watch it in the future. Like 2026, because the queue is kinda long.

It’s long but not that long lol, it’s more like I lost motivation to watch for years now that I can only barely watch series/movies lol.

You’ve been trying what? To de-age years instantly, or go back in time?

Crazy things you try anyway though.
