Oh, that’s interesting. I chose it for the meme, but it’s good to learn some historical facts. Thanks.

Also, she was a poor soul, regardless of status…
It was bad what happened to her.

The third option.

Because WWII was one war. Romans and Greeks had countless wars.
More wars to study, more history to know…
Also, all the other options are quite limited:
Genghis Khan, decades,
Napoleon, active for decades,
The American Revolution + Civil War, impactful, but both these events happened relatively fast,
Model trains, no idea,

But Rome,
Rome is Eternal. :grinning:

Or at the very least, it’s direct history spans from 753 Before Christ to 1453 After Christ;
It spanned 2000+ years, and left countless pretenders, inheritors and a huge legacy…

It all started with a city, it ended with a city,
A befitting end for the Colossal that it was.

OK, I love Rome.
Let’s continue with the memes.:pray:

You mean their last war, no?
It lasted a while and ended in tremendous disaster for both Empires…

The Arabs couldn’t find a better moment to strike.

It was K. O. For the Ancient Rivals, the Age of Antiquity was killed for good with the Arab Conquest of Persia and most of Eastern Rome.

All of them, including between Eastern Roman Empire and Sassanid Empire.
