Music played over morphic fields?

So I like to listen to lofi music while I work, but I also want to play my fields on my laptop at the same time. Would this clash? I have my phone to play other fields, but for a field I want repeated, say Jing, I would play that on my laptop. But I don’t like listening to the fields on repeat all the time, so I minimise the volume, and play it in the background while I have lofi music playing in another tab.
In short would you think this would affect the effectiveness of the field?

Yes, this would. The field is embedded in the audio, so when you layer the field with other sounds using the same device you are not playing the actual fielded audio.

Edit: it’s best to use a different output.

You could choose different output, in case you have (Bluetooth or wired) speakers or even if you use headphones (you don’t need to keep your headphones on your ears, btw, just keep them on/near your body, the field is still emitting, but it would be best to turn the volume higher/up in the headphones), thus you can play music from your laptop speaker and fields from anotyer connected device, like speakers or headphones.

Also, I’m gonna upload some screenshots, for anyone who doesn’t know how to do it.
